New Year’s Eve celebrations take place at various venues on December 31st including in downtown Vancouver, out on the water and at area nightclubs. Below is a list of top New Year’s Eve party venues that take place most years. The New Year’s evening of chamber music comes complete with sparkling wine and dessert. Circus3’s New Year’s Eve Variety Show. The 7:30 pm family-friendly event at the Vancouver Playhouse features circus acrobats and Vancouver’s largest balloon drop. What: The magical Canyon Lights attraction is making its return to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for the 2021 holiday season.The famed suspension bridge will be glowing, and the canyon floor underneath it will be illuminated with lights from below, creating an enchanting winter wonderland. For those who will be taking public transit, TransLink will once again be offering free transit on New Year's Eve, starting at 5:00 pm, and services will also be provided on an extended weekday schedule, before then shifting to a Sunday / Holiday schedule for New Year's Day, meaning TransLink's offices and the West Coast Express will be closed.
