Waste Management Holidays 2024 What to Expect. Looking ahead, waste management holidays in 2024 will likely follow the standard schedule, but it’s always a good idea to check with your local provider for specifics. Here’s a general idea of what you can expect: New Year’s Day 2024: Monday, January 1 – One-day delay throughout the week. New Years Day 2024, Memorial Day 2024, and Labor Day 2024, will have one day delays for the full week following the holiday. Routes will run Tuesday through Saturday for these holiday weeks. For these 2024 Holidays: July 4th, November 28th and December 25th, if your collection day falls on or after the holiday your collection will be delayed Biloxi, MS – (December 20, 2024) – In observance of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, there will be no garbage collection for residential customers on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Wednesday residential customers will be collected on the Thursday following each holiday – December 26, 2024, and January 2, 2025. Thursday residential customers will be New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are Waste Pro holidays. For example, if a holiday falls on a Thursday, Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday and For the week of Christmas, as well as New Years, the Waste Management schedule will run as follows.
