The Hogmanay celebration in Edinburgh will take place between Sunday, December 29, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Gates for the Street Party, which takes place on December 31, will open at 8pm with the last admission being at 11pm. Edinburgh’s Hogmanay celebration opens with the spectacular Torchlight Procession, a river of fire featuring 20,000 torchbearers lighting up the city from the Meadows to the city center. From 6 pm to 8:30 pm, attendees enjoy street performances with live theater, fire artists, drummers, and pipe bands. Please note that Concert in the Gardens and Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party are separate events, with tickets required for each event.
