First Bus has revealed its Christmas and New Year timetable for bus services across Glasgow. Ahead of the festive period, the transport company has confirmed no buses will operate on Christmas Day (December 25). First Bus have now shared their timetable for bus services over the festive period in Glasgow. Over Christmas and New Year, the British bus firm will be operating a reduced service, and Glaswegians can expect no buses operating on Christmas Day. Christmas & New Year Service Levels - 24th December - 4th January. In this timetable we've listed everything you need to know about your McGill's services between Christmas Eve & 4th January 2023. View our Festive Service Levels by clicking here. The 2145 and 2245 Glasgow to Glenrothes journeys will not operate. The 1850 St Andrews to Glasgow journey will end at Kincardine. The 1950 St Andrews to Glasgow journey will end at Glenrothes. The 2050 Kincardine to Glasgow and 2040 Glenrothes to Glasgow journeys will not operate. Service X55 Edinburgh - Dunfermline Costessey Park & Ride 510 will run a normal Monday-Friday service except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day. The 511 will stop operating at the end of Friday 20th December 2024, and return on Thursday 2nd January 2025. Service 509 will also run a normal Monday-Friday service except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day. No Stagecoach South West services will run on New Year's Day. When do buses go back to normal after Christmas? Stagecoach bus services in South West return to normal on Monday 6th On Tuesday, 31st December 2024 (New Years Eve) all services will operate to temporary holiday timetables, but they will also be subject to earlier last departure times. Bus operator First Glasgow has announced its timetables for the Christmas and New Year period. From Thursday, December 24, until Monday, January 4, revised service levels will be in operation.
